Overview
Yoh has an immediate, 3-month contract, possible extension, for a Payroll Administrator - US Payroll TAX, within the chemicals industry to join our client, hybrid, reporting to their office in Wilmington, DE
Responsibilities
Managing U.S. payroll tax reporting, filings, reconciliations, and funding approvals
Overseeing quarterly and year-end tax processes, including W-2/W-2c and amended returns
Ensuring accurate employee tax setup across systems (SAP, ADP GlobalView, UKG Pro)
Supporting payroll tax audits and regulatory requests for the U.S. and Puerto Rico
Monitoring tax law changes and ensuring timely system updates and compliance
Providing payroll tax guidance to internal teams and vendors
Assisting with special tax matters such as relocations, expatriates, mergers, and acquisitions
Requirements / What You Need to Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (CPA or advanced degree a plus)
3–5+ years of experience in payroll administration; payroll tax and/or financial reporting experience strongly preferred
Solid understanding of U.S. payroll tax regulations and end-to-end payroll processes
Experience supporting audits, reconciliations, and regulatory reporting (SEC exposure a plus)
High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism
Strong written and verbal communication skills and the confidence to work with employees at all levels
Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work independently in a fast-paced environment
Experience partnering with vendors and cross-functional teams
Hands-on experience with payroll systems such as Workday, SAP Payroll, ADP GlobalView, and/or UKG Pro
Employment Details
Location: Wilmington, DE (on-site 4 days, 1 day remote)
Salary: up to $44.82/hour
Hours: 40-hour work week, daytime hours
Contract: 3–month contract with potential extension
