This role is focused on providing comprehensive advice and customized financial solutions to clients, helping them achieve their financial goals by triaging leads, building financial plans, and recommending brokerage products.
Responsibilities
Work with clients to plan short and long‑term financial goals by building a financial plan with brokerage products, including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, and banking solutions.
Recommend banking and investment strategies that align with client goals and needs.
Triage client requests and make referrals to appropriate internal service providers based on client needs and asset thresholds.
Mitigate and control risk as part of daily activities.
Identify and engage potential new clients through referrals or financial center clientele.
Provide coaching and feedback to referral partners based on knowledge of client needs and potential product services.
Apply and expand knowledge by completing required licenses and training; maintain SAFE Act registration, including background checks and compliance.
Required Qualifications
Currently holds Series 7 and Series 66 (or Series 63/65 in lieu of 66) licenses; a passing score on the missing series within 60 days is acceptable.
At least one year of experience in the investments industry, including investment training and deep knowledge of investment products and services.
At least one year of experience in the financial service industry and/or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded.
Ability to set and accomplish goals, build and nurture strong relationships, collaborate effectively, communicate confidently with all clients, manage goals in a fast‑paced environment, and adapt to new information.
Manage time and capacity efficiently and incorporate relevant regulatory due diligence into daily activities.
Desired Qualifications
Strong computer skills and ability to multitask in a demanding environment.
At least three years of experience in the financial service industry and/or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded.
Professional designations such as Certified Financial Planner (CFP) or Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC).
Relevant insurance licenses.
