
Business Analyst

Responsibilities
Support initiatives across: Credit, Debit, and Prepaid card products
Tokenization (Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay) authorization, clearing, and settlement
Fraud monitoring and controls, chargebacks and disputes, rewards, loyalty, and promotions
Collaborate with card processors (e.g., FIS, Fiserv, TSYS, Marqeta)
Stakeholder & cross‑functional collaboration: act as a liaison between business, product, technology, operations, and compliance teams
Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, UAT planning, and defect triage
Support vendor and network engagements (Visa, Mastercard, Amex)
Testing & implementation support: develop UAT strategies, test scenarios, and test cases; execute and support user acceptance testing and defect resolution; support production releases, post‑implementation validation, and issue resolution
Data & reporting: analyse transaction data, metrics, and trends to support decision‑making; collaborate with data teams on dashboards, MIS, and regulatory reporting
Qualifications
Functional/domain: strong experience in card payments domain; knowledge of ISO 8583 message standards; authorization and settlement flows; interchange, fees, and network rules; fraud and dispute lifecycle; experience with Visa and Mastercard rules and mandates
Business analysis: expertise in requirements elicitation techniques; strong documentation and communication skills; experience with Agile tools (JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps); ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
Technical & analytical: comfortable working with APIs, message flows, and data mappings; SQL or data analysis experience preferred; understanding of digital payments and mobile wallets is a plus
