Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Birmingham, AL, for an Admissions Coordinator. Responsibilities include managing incoming inquiries, guiding potential residents and their families through the admissions process, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring smooth transitioning for new residents. The coordinator will also collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure compliance with Medicare and other regulatory standards, provide excellent customer service, and conduct training for related tasks as needed.
Qualifications
Strong Communication and Customer Service skills
Familiarity with Medicare policies and regulations
Proficiency in Medical Terminology and related healthcare processes
Experience in providing Training and support for teams
Organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Associates or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred
Previous experience in admissions or healthcare facilities is a plus
