Design Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer
Salary: $90,000 - $115,000 per year
Location: University Park, IL – 100% onsite, with hybrid flexibility after the initial period.
You will be designing and improving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components & systems. This role is the link that connects product design and production, supporting both new product development and continuous improvement of existing equipment and systems.

Requirements
2+ years of Design Engineering and/or Manufacturing Engineering experience involving pneumatic and hydraulic systems
Excited to work on the shop floor with technicians on redesigns
Fundamental knowledge of reverse engineering and reengineering
Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) – required
SolidWorks proficiency, with experience in product data management and ERP systems
Experience with troubleshooting, problem-solving, teamwork, and good communication skills
Knowledge of FMEA, Lean Manufacturing practices, Value Engineering (VE), and Six Sigma – a plus
