Job Title: Mortgage Customer Service Representative
Location: Cleveland TN or Remote
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM
One Saturday per Month: 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay: $17.00/hr
Company Overview: Express Employment is assisting a recovery company specializing in mortgage servicing support, customer communication, and account assistance. While our company works closely with collections teams, this position is strictly customer service and collections focused.
Position Summary
We are seeking a professional, reliable, and customer-focused Mortgage Customer Service Representative to join our fast-paced team. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm and efficient in a high-stress environment. The ideal candidate will provide outstanding service to customers by handling inquiries related to mortgage accounts, payments, and general account maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
Handle incoming customer calls regarding mortgage accounts, payment assistance, and general inquiries.
Deliver accurate, respectful, and timely support to each customer.
Document all interactions clearly and thoroughly within internal systems.
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues when necessary.
Adhere to compliance and regulatory requirements.
Meet performance and productivity goals in a high-volume environment.
Work scheduled shifts, including one Saturday per month.
Required Qualifications
Minimum typing speed of 40 WPM.
1 year of customer service experience, preferably in mortgage, banking, or financial services.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proven ability to work efficiently in fast-paced and high-stress settings.
High level of professionalism and problem-solving ability.
Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in the mortgage or finance industry.
Familiarity with call center environments and CRM systems.
