Job Overview
Genesis10 is currently seeking a TWS Support Engineer with our banking client in their Jersey City, NJ location. This is an 11‑month + contract and hybrid remote position requiring 3 days onsite.
Responsibilities
Support existing and future Workload schedulers.
Translate job scheduling business technical requirements into scheduled jobs.
Design, develop, document and implement major product upgrades and migration processes.
Provide maintenance and support of the existing IBM Workload scheduler.
Design and develop schedules for on‑prem and cloud‑based applications.
Design and develop cloud‑based job types such as REST API, Azure DataFactory, Azure Databricks, etc.
Troubleshoot and resolve production failures.
Work with various teams on deployment, configuration and validation of new schedules in all environments.
Perform performance tuning to increase the productivity of scheduling tools.
Conduct impact analysis for new implementations on existing systems and document back‑out plans.
Participate in cross‑training sessions with other teams.
Provide proactive solutions to problems before they surface.
Support weekend and on‑call rotations.
Qualifications
8+ years of experience with scheduling tools such as IBM Workload Automation, Autosys or other prominent schedulers.
Strong cloud infrastructure experience.
Experience in a similar position.
Experience with Oracle/SQL databases.
Experience with RedHat Linux, AIX, and Windows.
Experience with cloud‑based technologies such as Azure.
Logical thinker who enjoys problem solving and has a methodical approach under pressure.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and juggle project work with day‑to‑day issues and user requests.
Compensation
Pay rate up to $63.67 hourly.
