Duties & Responsibilities
Coach a team to deliver an amazing customer experience and use Brand tools to communicate with guests.
Develop shift leads and build a fun, supportive work environment.
Be a top crew member, knowledgeable about all tasks, to serve as an assistant manager when required.
Willing to perform all duties in the café, including cleaning and organizing when needed.
Maintain a consistent, professional image of the café and crew by meeting sanitation and appearance standards.
Requirements
Minimum of 1 year of experience in the restaurant or fast‑casual field.
Experience training and developing employees, or prior experience working at a Tropical Smoothie Café.
Experience providing excellent customer service.
Demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence in both front‑ and back‑of‑house areas and coach teams to brand standards.
Ability to take direction from a manager and learn skills necessary to become a manager.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Maintains and exceeds customer expectations to build brand loyalty.
Will learn ingredient ordering, scheduling, marketing & promotional updates, and sales program execution from a manager.
Assists the team in preparing food and smoothies to brand standards and stocking.
Builds sales by cultivating relationships in the business community and initiating local store marketing campaigns.
$14‑$17/hr. with TIPS
