Responsibilities
Supervise and perform landscape maintenance duties, including purchasing materials and equipment, selecting and scheduling vendor services, tracking expenses, defining irrigation and maintenance schedules, conducting repairs, mowing, weeding, planting, installing and removing sod, and applying fertilizer and pesticide applications.
Keep and maintain records of all chemical applications.
Monitor team member performance, providing supervision, scheduling, counseling and evaluations, professional development, and delivering recognition and reward.
Recruit, interview and train team members.
Assist with development of landscape budget.
Oversee preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of building systems such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, and mechanical equipment.
Qualifications
2–3+ years of maintenance supervisory experience, preferably in a hotel or resort setting.
Demonstrated history of preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical).
Experience with hospitality-specific maintenance expectations (guest rooms, public areas).
