Surgery - Cardiovascular Physician

Coverage Needed :

• Start Date: June 1, 2026
• End Date: July 13, 2026
• Schedule: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Night Call (12 to 13 days per month)

Clinical Details :

• Practice Setting: Hospital Based, Rounding
• Trauma Level: Level II at one location
• Average Cases: 1 case per day
• Operating Rooms: 11 General ORs, 2 CV Operating Rooms
• EMR: PowerChart (Cerner)
• Support Staff: PA support in OR, Nurse Practitioners, CTICU Intensivist coverage
• Scope of Services Required: Adult Cardiac Surgery, Coronary Artery Bypass Surgery
• Procedures Required: CABG, Off-Pump CABG, Arterial Revascularization (Internal Mammary Arteries, Radial Artery, Gastroepiploic Artery), Redo Coronary Revascularization (with or without Heart Valve Surgery)
• Additional Procedures Required: Pericardial Window

Requirements :

• Board Certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery
• BLS, ACLS Certifications
• Active NJ State License
• Fellowship Training
• Provider must be from NJ, PA, NY, DE - Preferred
