Responsibilities/Duties:- Adult Cardiac Surgery - Required
- General Thoracic Surgery - Preferred
- Congenital Cardiac Surgery
- CABG
- Off-Pump CABG
- Arterial Revascularization (Using Internal Mammary Arteries, Radial Artery and Gastroepiploic Artery)
- Redo Coronary Revascularization (With or Without Heart Valve Surgery)
- Tube Thoracostomy
- Pericardial Window
- Tracheostomy
- Thoracic aortic aneurysms
- Flexible and Rigid Bronchoscopy
- Thoracotomy Lung Biopsy
- Thoracotomy Lung Resections and Pneumonectomy
- Thoracotomy Decortication
- Mediastinal Surgery
- Mediastinotomy and Biopsy
- Surgical Open" Aneurysm Repair
- Heart Valve Repair/Replacement Surgery
- Mitral Valve Repair
- Board Certified - REQUIRED
- BLS Certified - REQUIRED
- KY License - Preferred (Willing to accept candidates needing to obtain a license)
- CLEAN BACKGROUND REQUIRED
- Impella support (Insertion/Removal/Bailout) REQUIRED
- Structural Heart Support (in Hybrid OR / Cath Lab) REQUIRED
- A Self-Query NPDB report required at the time of presentation (Should be pulled within 30 days) - REQUIRED
- Board Certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery
- BLS Certification
- Kentucky Medical License (Preferred, but not mandatory)
