Responsibilities

Create detailed architectural designs using specialized software including Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and SketchUp.

Develop complex 3D models, technical renderings, and visualization materials for multi‑million dollar projects.

Produce comprehensive Construction Document sets including floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details that meet industry standards and client specifications.

Collaborate with the Architect of Record to conduct thorough technical reviews of Construction Documents, identifying and correcting errors, omissions, and design inconsistencies.

Research and apply International Building Code (IBC), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements, and local municipal codes to ensure regulatory compliance across all project phases.

Participate in internal design meetings, client presentations, and external stakeholder conferences to discuss project progress, design solutions, and technical requirements.

Coordinate with structural, mechanical, electrical, and civil engineering consultants to integrate building systems and resolve complex technical conflicts.

Maintain organized project files, drawing archives, and technical specifications in accordance with company standards.

Hybrid schedule is allowed.

TRAVEL: Up to 15% International and domestic travel to construction sites or client meetings.

Requirements

Master's degree in Architecture or related field (or foreign equivalent) and 2 years of work experience in the job offered or related occupation in Architecture; or alternative, Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field (or foreign equivalent) and 4 years of work experience in the job offered or related occupation in Architecture.

Specific Skills

Expertise and knowledge of architectural design software (Revit, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) / BIM 360, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, Enscape, Navisworks, Bluebeam Revu, etc.) and knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building systems integration.

Autodesk Revit to develop and manage complex Building Information Models (BIM) from schematic design through the issuance of construction documents, adhering to project‑specific BIM execution plans and ensuring accurate integration with structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) models.

Graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite like Photoshop, InDesign, etc.) to refine rendered images, create clear and compelling diagrams illustrating complex design concepts, and compile comprehensive design presentation packages.

International Building Code (IBC), NFPA 101 (Life Safety Code), and relevant NFPA standards for hazardous materials (e.g., NFPA 30, 45) to ensure all architectural designs are compliant with regulations.

Ability to produce accurate technical drawings, and produce technical architectural details for specialized space construction, and rooms requiring specific fire ratings or specialized fire suppression systems.

Coordinate the architectural design with process engineers and equipment vendors to ensure the building accurately supports the function, workflow, and technical requirements of the manufacturing or data processing equipment housed within.

Version control, collaborative design reviews, and management of Requests for Information (RFIs) and submittals across a geographically dispersed, multi‑disciplinary team.

Ability to assist in the architectural sections of the Basis of Design (BOD) by synthesizing Owner’s Project Requirements (OPR) into a foundational design narrative.

The base salary range for this position is $94,203.00 to $102,700.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
