Projected Compensation: $150 per Hour + Comprehensive Benefits

She Recruits is partnering with a major regional health system in the Southeast to recruit Board Certified/Board Eligible OB/GYN physicians for a well-established, nationally supported OB Hospitalist program.

This is a structured, hospital-based obstetrics model focused on clinical excellence, patient safety, and collaborative physician support.

The Opportunity

As an OB Hospitalist, you will serve as an in-house clinical expert on Labor & Delivery, ensuring that every patient presenting to the hospital receives consistent, high-quality obstetrical care.

This model enhances maternal safety, improves outcomes, and provides meaningful collaboration with community OB physicians and midwives.

You will practice high-impact obstetrics without the administrative burden of outpatient management.

Clinical Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological care
Deliver direct care to high-risk obstetrical patients
Manage obstetrical emergencies independently and confidently
Participate in daily Labor & Delivery board rounds
Serve as Safety Officer on Labor & Delivery
Collaborate with community OB/GYN physicians and certified midwives
Provide practice coverage when clinically appropriate
Ensure quality, safety, and standardized care protocols
Schedule & Work Structure
Primarily 24-hour shifts
Some 12-hour or mixed-shift models available
Full-time physicians typically work 5 9 (24-hour) shifts per 28-day block
Flexible scheduling structure
No outpatient panel management
No traditional office responsibilities

Benefit eligibility begins with a commitment of five shifts per 28-day block.

This structure supports predictable income and meaningful work/life balance.

Compensation & Benefits

$150 per hour guaranteed

Qualifications
MD or DO
Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN
Active state medical license or ability to obtain
Strong experience in obstetrical emergency care preferred
Excellent interpersonal and collaborative communication skills
Ability to thrive in a structured hospital-based OB program
