An academic medical center in the Bronx is seeking a Urologist to join their growing department. The client offers a competitive compensation plan with hospital employed benefits package.
Job Description:
Compensation : $300000 - $500000 Job ID : 44450
Job Funtion:
- Large teaching hospital in NYC with medical students and residents with a clinically rich environment
- Department consists of 2 Urology NPs, 1 full time urologist and 1 part time urologist
- Clinical component includes 4 clinical sessions (2 days) of office time, 1-2 OR days per week and remaining for admin and consultations
- No late evenings or weekend office hours
- Call schedule from home shared for consults but have PAs onsite nights and weekends so only have to come in if patient needs to go to OR - which is RARE (expect to take 10 call shifts per month, anything additional paid separately)
- No late evenings or weekend hours in the office
- General urology, no robotic surgery but willing to get doctor credentialing at other institution to do those cases
- Many kidney stone cases, BPH, urinary incontinence, also big opportunity to build out female urology if desired
Job Requirements:
- Competitive compensation plan with hospital-employed benefits package.
- Board Certified in Urology.
- NY State License.
