Job Title: Locum Physician OB Hospitalist

Overview:

Required Skills:
  • Active and unrestricted medical license in Oregon or the ability to obtain required licensing
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynecology, or Rural Obstetrics (OB/GYN)
  • Proven experience managing obstetric patients in a hospital setting
  • Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with high-risk pregnancies and emergency obstetric procedures
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
  • Prior locum or ER coverage experience
  • BLS/ACLS certifications

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Minimum of 2 years of OB hospitalist experience or equivalent clinical practice
  • OB Fellowship training is a plus

Other Requirements:
  • Availability for 20 shifts per month starting December 1, 2025
  • Willingness to work 24-hour shifts, including weekends, with on-call responsibilities
  • Commitment to maintaining up-to-date certifications and licensure
  • Travel or lodging reimbursement, if applicable
