We are seeking a Board Certified OB/GYN hospitalist for a locum tenens physician job in Rowlett, Texas (zip code 75088). Job Requirements

• Board Certified in OB/GYN (Board Eligible not accepted)
• Active Texas medical license or IMLC (Interstate Medical Licensure Compact) eligibility
• Minimum 1 year of recent clinical experience in OB/GYN hospitalist practice or labor & delivery hospitalist roles
• Completion of prescreen questionnaire
• CV in MM/YYYY format with all gaps explained
• Self-query NPDB (within 30 days of submission)

Responsibilities

• Perform OB triage, admissions, and management of antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients
• Attend and manage deliveries, including spontaneous and operative vaginal deliveries
• Provide inpatient care, manage unassigned patients, and offer private call coverage
• Respond to ER consults for gynecologic and obstetric emergencies
• Surgical assists for cesarean sections and other obstetric procedures
• Fetal monitoring, labor management, and emergency response in L&D
• Collaborate with maternal-fetal medicine specialists for high-risk pregnancies
• Work closely with in-house neonatologists and Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNPs) in a Level III NICU
• Coordinate care with 24/7 anesthesiology services
