Locums - Bismarck, North Dakota, Neurologist Opening (IMLC Accepted)Coverage Dates
  • July 6: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Orientation)
  • July 6 (5:00 PM) - July 13 (8:00 AM): Clinic + 24-hour call coverage (weekends included)
  • July 17 (5:00 PM) - July 27 (8:00 AM): Clinic + 24-hour call coverage (weekends included)
  • September 11 (5:00 PM) - September 28 (8:00 AM): Clinic + 24-hour call coverage (weekends included)
Practice Setting
  • Clinic and inpatient neurology coverage
  • EMR: Epic
  • Support Staff: 1 APP, 1 RN, 1 LPN, 1 EMG tech
  • Reason for Coverage: Provider resignation
  • FTE: 10 days per month
  • Locum will supervise 1 APP
Clinical Responsibilities
  • Inpatient rounding on neurology patients
  • Outpatient clinic coverage
  • Clinic volume: 6-8 scheduled patients/day
  • Call: 24-hour call coverage with weekday clinic duties ( 5 hours/day)
  • Patient population: 40% adult / 60% geriatric
Procedures
  • EMGs preferred, but not required
Requirements
  • Board Certified Neurology or Truly Board Eligible (0-5 years from residency completion) - Required
  • Active North Dakota license or IMLC - Required
  • BLS - Highly preferred
