Overview
The Service Technician IV is responsible for completing installation, service, and maintenance on various commercial HVAC systems. Must have experience with inspection, repair, and maintenance of HVAC equipment. This position requires travel as needed.
Responsibilities
Perform assigned HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting tasks safely in a commercial and industrial setting.
Service, diagnose and troubleshoot various commercial systems including packaged rooftops, split systems, boilers, chillers, etc.
Perform preventative maintenance and repair of commercial HVAC equipment.
Provide technical support in the field to other technicians.
Obtain an NCCER Performance Evaluator credential and support learning in the field.
Requirements

Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Ability to follow and communicate instructions and directions both verbally and in writing.
Mastery of HVAC components and terminology.
Experience with inspection, repair, and maintenance of HVAC equipment.
Experience with HVAC systems start-up/commissioning.
Working knowledge of HVAC concepts related to leak detection, evacuation, recovery, charging, heat pumps, and air quality systems.
Working knowledge of service tools and testing devices.
Education and Experience
High School Diploma Required. Technical school preferred.
OSHA 10 Preferred
EPA Certified
Valid Driver’s License
Minimum 10 plus years of HVAC experience required.
Physical Requirements
Required to stand, walk, and sit.
Talk or hear, both in person and by telephone.
Use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects or controls.
Reach with hands and arms.
Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 50 pounds.
