Role Description
This is a full‑time, on‑site Field Service Technician role based in Jenison, MI. The Field Service Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing environmental test chambers and systems. Daily tasks include troubleshooting technical issues, performing routine servicing, replacing system components as needed, and providing exceptional customer service and support. The role also involves training customers on the operation and maintenance of equipment, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications
Experience in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing electrical and mechanical systems
Proficiency in interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and electrical diagrams
Strong skills in fieldwork, including system installation, calibration, and maintenance
Effective communication and customer service skills for training and support
Willingness to travel for client site visits and ability to work independently
Proficiency in using tools and diagnostic equipment relevant to the role
Previous experience in refrigeration, HVAC systems, or environmental test equipment is a plus
Technical certification or associate degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is preferred
Valid driver's license and clean driving record are required
