Role Overview
We are looking for a seasoned Data Analyst / Data SDET hybrid professional to support cloud-based data initiatives. This role blends data analysis, SQL development, ETL validation, and data quality engineering, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working hands-on with data while ensuring accuracy and reliability across analytics platforms.
You will join a growing agile team focused on data enablement and data mart development, collaborating closely with business and technical stakeholders to support analytics and reporting needs.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & SQL
Develop, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries for data extraction and validation
Perform detailed data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and quality issues
Work with large-scale datasets in cloud-based data platforms
ETL Validation & Data Quality
Validate data transformations and workflows across ETL pipelines
Perform reconciliation, completeness checks, and data integrity validations
Ensure consistency and accuracy across data marts and reporting layers
Automation & Workflow Enablement
Support and enhance data workflows orchestrated through Apache Airflow
Contribute to automation of data validation and testing processes
Partner with engineering teams to strengthen data quality and testing practices
Collaboration & Delivery
Work closely with business stakeholders to understand data requirements
Participate in agile ceremonies and cross-functional collaboration
Coordinate effectively with distributed teams
Required Qualifications
6–7+ years of experience in data-centric roles such as:
Data Analyst
Analytics Engineer
Data QA or Data SDET
Advanced SQL expertise (critical requirement)
Strong background in data analysis and validation methodologies
Hands-on experience with:
Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and BigQuery
ETL processes and data pipeline testing
Apache Airflow
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with insurance or claims-related data
Familiarity with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS / IAC)
Background in hybrid roles combining analytics and data testing/QA
Core Skills & Attributes
Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities
Ability to interpret complex datasets and identify data issues quickly
Clear communication with both technical teams and business users
Adaptability in a fast-paced, evolving data environment
