IS Support Tech Opportunity
West Oaks Hospital has provided psychiatric care to the Houston area and surrounding communities for over three decades. Our 176‑bed acute care facility is fully accredited and includes a 16‑bed residential treatment center for adult chemical dependency. We offer a broad range of behavioral health programs for children, adolescents, and adults across multiple levels of care including inpatient, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient. We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to assist you and answer your questions about treatment options and insurance coverage. The hospital is easily accessible off the Southwest Freeway near the Galleria.

West Oaks Hospital is seeking a dynamic and talented IS Support Tech to join our team of compassionate, dedicated professionals. The IS Support Tech will be responsible for maintaining network infrastructure and all IT‑related systems for the facility. This includes providing Server, PC, PBX, Security System, and Telemedicine support for staff, coordinating IT projects and rollouts, reviewing vendor contracts, rolling out company applications via WSUS, submitting access requests for staff, and working with corporate and local management to implement UHS policies and standards for all applicable information systems.
Job Duties / Responsibilities
Maintain local area network infrastructure
Maintain hardware for servers and PCs
Provide telecom support and manage voicemail system
Provide application support for staff and assist with the proper usage of IT systems
Liaison for corporate IT of UHS MIS department
Coordinate infrastructure upgrades, rollout of IT systems, and manage vendors to successfully complete project goals for the facility. Submit CARPACs as necessary.
Complete access control requests for CFO approval for employees that require access to IT systems
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
Education Required: Bachelor's Degree in information systems or related field.
Licensure and Certification: None required. Preferred
: CompTIA A+, Security+, ITF+, Network+
Experience Required: Five (5) years of experience in information systems. Preferred: Experience in healthcare information systems.
