Responsibilities
Registered Nurse (RN) Opportunity - Night Shift at West Oaks Hospital, a 176‑bed acute care psychiatric and substance abuse facility.
West Oaks Hospital has been providing psychiatric care to the Houston area and surrounding communities for over four decades. It offers behavioral health programs for children, adolescents and adults, including inpatient, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient levels of care. The hospital is 24/7 available and located near the Southwest Freeway.

The RN will provide direct patient care under the direction of a Charge Nurse for adults, adolescents, children and geriatric patients with psychiatric and substance abuse conditions. Responsibilities include using the nursing process to effectively manage each patient’s plan of care based on appropriate standards, policies and procedures. The RN will also delegate patient care duties to other nursing team members to assure optimal patient outcomes and will receive professional development support to enhance practice.

Qualifications
Requirements
Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, Diploma or BSN).
Licensure and certification: Current Texas State Registered Nurse license; CPR and hospital de‑escalation certifications.
Experience: None required. Preferred: Two years of inpatient psychiatric nursing and/or medical/surgical experience.
