Licensed Vocational Nurse Opportunity
West Oaks Hospital has provided psychiatric care to the Houston area and surrounding communities for over four decades. Our 176-bed acute care facility is fully accredited and includes a 16-bed residential treatment center for adult chemical dependency.
Responsibilities
The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) will provide direct patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse for adults, adolescents, children, and geriatric patients with psychiatric and substance abuse conditions. The LVN will also serve as House Supervisor, manage the Nursing Process to implement the Plan of Care for each patient, delegate patient care duties to other nursing team members, pursue ongoing professional development, and actively participate as a member of the multidisciplinary staff.

Qualifications
Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
Licensure: Current Texas State Licensed Vocational Nurse license, CPR and hospital de-escalation certifications.
Experience: Two years of inpatient psychiatric nursing and/or medical/surgical experience.
