LHH is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Paralegal to support attorneys with a variety of corporate and business law matters. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment and enjoys working on entity formation and corporate governance documentation from start to finish.
Responsibilities

Assist attorneys with corporate and LLC formations and related filings
Prepare and maintain organizational documents, including:
Minutes and corporate records
Stock certificates and bylaws
Shareholder agreements and LLC operating agreements
Handle foreign entity registrations across multiple jurisdictions
Conduct legal and regulatory research, including:
Secretary of State filings
North Carolina statutes and applicable governing laws
Draft a variety of legal and business documents, including:
Correspondence and memoranda
Agreements and closing statements
Opinion letters, affidavits, indemnities, assumed name certificates, and related documentation
Monitor and follow up on filings and required actions to ensure timely completion and compliance
Support attorneys with ongoing corporate maintenance and transactional needs
Qualifications

Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies (ABA-approved program) plus 3–5 years of paralegal experience
Strong preference for candidates with corporate or business law experience
Active North Carolina Notary Public commission, or ability to obtain one
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication skills
