Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in the Atlanta Metropolitan Area for a Field Service Technician. The Field Service Technician will be responsible for installing, servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing DMF equipment both in the field and in the manufacturing facility. Responsibilities include conducting inspections, performing diagnostics, completing maintenance tasks, and ensuring equipment operates efficiently. The role may also involve collaborating with customers to provide technical support, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and maintaining detailed service records.
Qualifications

Strong mechanical and technical skills, including the ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain complex machinery and systems
Knowledge of electrical systems, hydraulics, and related technologies as they pertain to industrial and rail equipment
Problem-solving skills and ability to perform under tight deadlines and in challenging environments
Excellent customer service skills, along with clear written and verbal communication abilities
Conduct FRA inspections and ensure compliance
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and drawings
Willingness to travel to client sites, with flexibility to work varied hours, including occasional overtime
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; CDL certification is a plus
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certifications in mechanics, electronics, or a related field are preferred
Familiarity with the rail industry and maintenance-of-way equipment is desirable but not required
Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience with hi-rail systems or railroad equipment
FRA certification or familiarity with FRA regulations
Welding and fabrication skills
ASE certification (or similar)
