
Content Operations Specialist, XR/VR Device - USDS

Responsibilities The XR/VR Video team combines cutting‑edge VR/MR technology, advanced video engineering, and a vibrant content ecosystem to redefine how people watch, create and share video in spatial computing. We focus on VR video playback, encoding, rendering, interaction and recommendation algorithms, exploring future media formats including spatial video, immersive storytelling and entertainment.
We are looking for a high‑impact Content Operations Specialist to be the primary driver of our XR streaming platform’s success in the United States and international markets. In this role, you will be the "boots on the ground" expert responsible for the end‑to‑end operational lifecycle of our app outside of China.
You will act as the bridge between our cutting‑edge XR technology and the entertainment ecosystem. You aren't just managing a product; you are crafting an immersive experience. From hands‑on content curation and user growth initiatives to managing high‑level third‑party partnerships, you will have ownership of how our global users discover and consume content in the world of spatial computing.
Hands‑on selection of featured XR content and 3D/2D video highlights to ensure the platform remains fresh, relevant, and culturally resonant.
Execute campaigns to drive user acquisition, retention, and engagement. You will be responsible for creating in‑app events, community outreach, and push notification strategies tailored to user habits.
Serve as the main point of contact for external streaming partners (e.g., YouTube, Netflix). Ensure their integration within our XR environment is optimized and troubleshoot operational issues to maintain a premium user experience.
Act as the "voice of the user." Work closely with the RD and Product teams to provide feedback on UI/UX localization, feature requests, and regional bugs.
Independently track and analyze key metrics (DAU, Watch Time, Retention). You will turn raw data into actionable insights and regular reports for the global management team.
Scout and coordinate with XR creators, influencers and XR camera companies to bring exclusive content to the platform and increase brand visibility.
Minimum Qualifications 3+ years of hands‑on experience in content operations, app growth, or digital streaming (OTT).
Experience using data visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, internal Dashboards) to drive operational decisions.
Preferred Qualifications Deep, intuitive understanding of US pop culture, streaming trends, and social media dynamics.
Prior experience working within the VR/AR/MR space.
Solid understanding of how content consumption differs in a 3D/spatial environment versus a traditional 2D screen.
Experience managing operational relationships with major US media entities or app developers.
Work Arrangement Fully in‑person schedule up to 5 days a week.

Job Information Base salary range for this position in the selected city is $88,000 – $202,667 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
