
Intern Non-Clinical | Accounting

The Intern works closely with the assigned leader and team to support departmental operations and a variety of non‑clinical functions. This temporary position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands‑on experience within a healthcare organization, with exposure to administrative non‑clinical areas.
Responsibilities
Shadow leaders and team members to gain a comprehensive understanding of department operations and workflow processes.
Actively participate in departmental and/or organizational meetings, take notes, ask questions, and provide constructive feedback as needed.
Assist in general administrative duties such as document preparation, presentation preparation, answering phone calls, and filing.
Contribute and support project initiatives through best practice research, tracking progress, data collection, and data analysis; actively contribute to assigned projects, manage tasks, and track project progress.
Interact, communicate, and collaborate with employees across departments to contribute to process improvement, efficiency, and quality initiatives. Communicate project findings and status updates to the leader as directed.
Help maintain accurate records to ensure corporate compliance and departmental/organizational standards.
Other duties as assigned.
Education
High School Diploma or GED (HS Equivalency Diploma)
Other Information
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in related field.
