Position Overview
Real Estate Attorney for well‑respected boutique firm on Long Island - room for growth and autonomy
Join a collegial, well‑established Long Island boutique handling commercial real estate work in a sustainable environment. Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 per year.

Origination credit: percentage of fees collected for new clients and matters, per firm policy

Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive legal support for all aspects of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and financings.
Draft, review, and negotiate complex real estate contracts, lease agreements, and related documents.
Conduct property‑level risk analysis to identify potential issues and provide strategic solutions.
Represent property owners, landlords, tenants, and other stakeholders in real estate matters.
Coordinate and manage all phases of real estate transactions, including due diligence, title review, and closing.
Advise clients on real estate financing‑related issues, including loan agreements, mortgages, and other financial instruments.
Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and staff to ensure seamless service delivery to clients.
Qualifications
Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
Active member in good standing with the state bar.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in real estate law.
Proven experience in contract drafting and analysis, property‑level risk analysis, and representation of property owners and stakeholders.
Strong knowledge of real estate financing‑related issues.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
Detail‑oriented with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
