
Assistant Financial Controller

Amphenol PCD is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Assistant Financial Controller to support our growing finance organization. Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, this role will play a key part in financial reporting, cost accounting, internal controls, and audit support.
This position requires strong technical accounting expertise, a hands‑on approach, and the ability to collaborate cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, consolidate, and analyze monthly and quarterly financial statements
Support annual budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis
Assist in implementing and maintaining internal controls aligned with COSO and GAAP standards
Perform general ledger activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
Ensure compliance with corporate policies and regulatory accounting standards
Utilize ERP systems (Macola), Excel, and support corporate reporting through BPC
Partner with internal and external auditors by preparing schedules and required documentation
Monitor changes in accounting regulations and ensure ongoing compliance
Support process improvements and efficiencies within the accounting function
Provide guidance and oversight to team members on daily accounting activities
Additional duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
3+ years of accounting or assistant controller experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of GAAP, revenue recognition, and standard cost accounting
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and critical thinking skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting internal and external audits
Familiarity with COSO frameworks and internal control documentation (including IPE)
Prior supervisory or team leadership experience
Experience with financial planning and reporting systems (e.g., BPC)
The base salary range for this role is $115,000 - $140,000, plus bonus. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
