Segra is searching for a qualified and experienced

Senior Finance Data Analyst

to join us in a full-time capacity.

Location Requirement:
The work arrangement for this role is a hybrid position, requiring a minimum of three (3) days in a Segra office, with flexibility to work remotely two (2) days each week. This is not open to remote.

Role Overview:
The Senior Finance Data Analyst is a key member of the Finance Business Intelligence team, reporting to the Senior Director, Finance Business Intelligence. This role is responsible for transforming complex financial and operational data into accurate, actionable insights that support strategic decision‑making across the organization. The position requires a strong blend of financial acumen, technical expertise, and analytical rigor. The ideal candidate is proficient in Power BI report development, SQL‑based data extraction and modeling, and has a proven track record in data auditing, validation, and discrepancy resolution. The Senior Finance Data Analyst will serve as a trusted partner in ensuring data accuracy and consistency across financial reporting and analytics. They will lead the development of scalable reporting solutions, proactively identify data quality issues, and collaborate closely with finance, IT, and business stakeholders to improve data governance and insight.

A successful hire will execute the vision of a data and digital‑first Finance organization. They will provide valuable insights and constructive feedback regarding our financial data strategy, governance, and processes. They will develop and deliver insightful, compelling dashboards and enable process automations to increase operational effectiveness and efficiency.

This position must effectively and regularly partner with systems, technology, finance, and operational process colleagues in the orchestration of cross‑functional solutions.

Qualifications
Education:

Bachelor's degree in management information systems, data science/analytics, finance or similar fields required or combination of education and relevant experience. Master's degree in advanced analytics or similar fields is preferred.

Experience:

A minimum of 5 years of related professional work experience with at least 4 years' experience working with data and information management tools to solve complex business problems

Advanced experience developing and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards, including DAX and data modeling best practices.

Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and validation across large, complex datasets.

Demonstrated experience with data auditing, reconciliation, and discrepancy investigation, with a high attention to detail and data integrity.

Strong understanding of financial concepts and how financial data is used in business decision‑making.

Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non‑technical audiences.

Extensive Experience working with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Experience with data governance, data quality frameworks, or enterprise data environments is a plus.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining high standards of accuracy.

Experience with Power Automate is heavily preferred.

Salary Range
$86,205 - $107,835
