Cost Accountant - Hybrid

Cost Accountant
Location: Canton, MA
Pay: $55-$65/hour (based on experience, location, and other factors)
Contract opening starts immediately – urgent need.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze and maintain standard costs, variances, and inventory reporting
Partner with plant leadership on cost control and efficiency initiatives
Support month‑end close, including journal entries and reconciliations
Evaluate manufacturing KPIs, margins, and production performance
Assist with budgeting and forecasting for plant operations
Qualifications
Strong experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing environment
Deep understanding of plant operations and inventory accounting
Advanced Excel skills (ERP experience preferred)
