Assistant Manager, Clinical Admissions

to lead our admissions team and ensure every patient and family experiences a safe, supportive, and seamless transition into treatment. This role is ideal for a mission‑driven RN who thrives in a fast‑paced clinical environment, enjoys mentoring others, and wants to shape the front door of care for Montana’s youth and families.

What You’ll Do

Lead Admissions Staff – Provide direct supervision, coaching, and performance management for a dedicated clinical admissions team.

Guide Patient Flow – Oversee referrals, admissions, transfers, and discharges to ensure timely, accurate, and patient‑centered transitions.

Ensure Clinical Excellence – Review documentation, assessments, and initial treatment plans for accuracy and compliance.

Support High‑Acute Cases – Offer clinical guidance and escalation support for complex or urgent admissions.

Drive Quality & Compliance – Participate in audits, monitor regulatory standards, and champion best practices.

Collaborate Across Departments – Work closely with nursing, medical staff, and leadership to optimize throughput and enhance patient experience.

Champion Patient‑Centered Care – Support families, uphold patient rights, and promote culturally responsive care.

This position starts at $42.26 per hour.

Requirements

Current RN license (Montana or compact state)

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing

Experience in admissions and at least 2 years in healthcare, behavioral health, or inpatient care

Strong leadership, communication, and critical‑thinking skills

Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and support staff through challenging situations

Familiarity with EHR systems and regulatory standards

Preferred: Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
