Assistant Manager, Clinical Admissions
to lead our admissions team and ensure every patient and family experiences a safe, supportive, and seamless transition into treatment.
This role is ideal for a mission-driven RN who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment, enjoys mentoring others, and wants to shape the front door of care for Montana’s youth and families.
What You’ll Do
Lead Admissions Staff
— Provide direct supervision, coaching, and performance management for a dedicated clinical admissions team.
Guide Patient Flow
— Oversee referrals, admissions, transfers, and discharges to ensure timely, accurate, and patient-centered transitions.
Ensure Clinical Excellence
— Review documentation, assessments, and initial treatment plans for accuracy and compliance.
Support High-Acuity Cases
— Offer clinical guidance and escalation support for complex or urgent admissions.
Drive Quality & Compliance
— Participate in audits, monitor regulatory standards, and champion best practices.
Collaborate Across Departments
— Work closely with nursing, medical staff, and leadership to optimize throughput and enhance patient experience.
Champion Patient-Centered Care
— Support families, uphold patient rights, and promote culturally responsive care.

Requirements
What You Bring
Current RN license (Montana or compact state)
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
Experience in admissions and at least 2 years in healthcare, behavioral health, or inpatient care
Strong leadership, communication, and critical-thinking skills
Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and support staff through challenging situations
Familiarity with EHR systems and regulatory standards
Preferred: Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
