Responsibilities Of The Staff Accountant
Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations on a weekly and monthly basis
Record journal entries related to prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and capitalization
Review and audit accounts payable activity to ensure transactions are coded accurately
Evaluate invoices and spending to confirm proper expense classification
Cross‑train on accounts receivable cash application
Maintain familiarity with a small number of customer accounts for AR continuity
Support general ledger accuracy and assist with close‑related activities
Work closely with internal teams to ensure financial data is complete and accurate
Qualifications Of The Staff Accountant
Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting
2+ years of experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable
Ability to work independently while collaborating with the broader accounting team
Salary: $55,000 to $65,000
