
Junior Scheduler

Cordoba Corporation is a leading engineering and design firm based in California. We are seeking a Junior Scheduler to join our Education & Facilities Sector. The ideal candidate will support Senior Schedulers and Project Schedulers in reviewing and analyzing contractor‑submitted construction schedules for Baseline and Monthly updates using the client’s review templates. This role assists in preparing schedule‑related reports in Excel and Primavera P6, and develops Earned Value curves in alignment with the client’s EVA guidelines. The Junior Scheduler performs QA/QC checks to ensure schedule submittals meet contract requirements and analyzes schedules for accuracy, logic, and compliance with project scope.
Responsibilities
Work under the supervision of Senior Schedulers and Project Schedulers to provide construction schedule review comments for contractor‑generated Baseline Schedules and Monthly Updates based on client review templates.
Assist the scheduling team in creating and populating various schedule‑related reports in Excel and P6.
Create Earned Value Curves based on the client’s EVA template guidelines.
Perform QA/QC on contractors’ schedule submittals for conformance with contract scope and requirements.
Analyze schedules for proper use of program‑level standard codes, layouts, and reports to ensure data integrity.
Perform QA/QC on P6 program schedules and validate logic ties to ensure conformance with scheduling guidelines for various project types.
Update the master program schedule with as‑built start and finish dates while coordinating input from various Facilities teams on projected/forecast sequential start/finish dates.
Qualifications
One year of experience responsible for scheduling for an owner or general contractor, preferably on multiple educational facilities or public works projects.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, engineering, or construction management from a recognized college or university.
Proficiency in Primavera Latest Version (P6 v19) and MS Office Suite.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to build efficient working relationships with project teams and department staff.
Superior organizational and planning skills.
Salary Range: $105,000 to $125,000 yearly
Location: Los Angeles, CA
