Great opportunity for new Accounting Grad!

Palm Shores Behavioral Health Cente ris a 65-bed residential treatment facility that provides treatment to adolescent boys and girls, ages 11 - 17. Treatment includes behavioral, emotional, and psychiatric interventions as well as education.

The Accounting Clerk provides essential support to the accounting department by maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and assisting with routine accounting tasks. This role ensures accuracy and efficiency in financial documentation and helps the accounting team manage accounts payable, receivable, and assist with payroll processing/reports.

Qualifications

Education: Associate Degree required. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field preferred.

Experience: A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in accounts payable/payroll experience with an AA degree.

Working knowledge of personal computers, payroll/accounts payable systems, Microsoft Word and Excel.

Skills: Have the ability to deal with diverse and stress related situations in a calm manner. Must be detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy.

Effective oral and written communication and guest relation skills required.

Must have good organizational and computer technical skills and have the ability to set priorities.

Physical Requirements: Visual acuity, accurate hearing, extensive sitting and ability to lift twenty (20) pounds.
