Job Summary:
We are seeking a Software Development Engineer II with a strong background in data and analytics to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in architecting end-to-end scalable applications that support our data and analytical pipelines, developing efficient, automated processes for data analyses and model development, and collaborating closely with data engineering, software development, and marketing teams to innovate on behalf of our customers. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity and driven by a passion for data to work in our fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Architect end-to-end scalable applications integrating front-end systems and back-end services for data and analytical pipelines.
Conduct data deep dives, analyses, and visualizations to support business use cases.
Establish scalable, efficient, automated processes for data analyses, model development, model validation, and model implementation.
Develop strong collaborative relationships with data engineering, software development, research, modeling, and marketing teams.
Develop complex SQL queries and scripts for business logic implementation and perform data analysis using scripting and cloud technologies.
Must-Have Skills:
Data-focused Software Engineer
who can build scalable backend systems and also work with data.
Strong in
SQL, Python/Scala, and AWS , with experience in data pipelines and analytics.
The role involves
both coding and analyzing data to support business decisions .
Industry
Experience:
Experience in data analytics, science, and engineering within a technology-focused industry is highly valued for this role.
