We are seeking an Electrical Data Center Technician to support operations and maintenance within a mission-critical data center environment. This is a contract position based in Mechanicsburg, PA, requiring onsite work in a secure facility. The role focuses on maintaining uptime, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems, and supporting infrastructure critical to continuous operations. Relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates.

What You’ll Do
Perform installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical systems within a critical facility environment
Support and maintain power infrastructure including UPS systems, batteries, PDUs, generators, and automatic transfer switches
Monitor and work with building and energy management systems (BMS and EPMS)
Conduct preventative maintenance and diagnostics using testing equipment such as multimeters, DLROs, and infrared scanning tools
Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation
Respond to system alerts and support rapid issue resolution to maintain uptime
Work collaboratively with operations teams to ensure system reliability and performance
What You’ll Bring
At least 3 years in a critical facility environment such as a data center or hospital
Strong knowledge of electrical systems including switchgear, generators, and UPS systems
Experience working with both AC and DC power systems
Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical issues
Proficiency reading and interpreting schematics and technical drawings
High school diploma or GED required
Ability to obtain an Electrical License through the City of Harrisburg within one year of hire
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
Bonus Points For
Current City of Harrisburg Electrical License
Active security clearance
Experience working in highly secure or government-regulated environments
Familiarity with mission-critical facility operations and uptime requirements
