Position Summary: The Sales & Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for supporting sales operations while maintaining accurate inventory control in a food, beverage, or consumer packaged goods (CPG) environment. This role ensures product availability, regulatory compliance, and alignment with industry standards and trends.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and manage inventory levels to support sales demand
Coordinate with sales, warehouse, and production teams to ensure product availability
Track orders, shipments, and inventory movements
Analyze inventory data and generate reports for management
Ensure compliance with food industry regulations and standards
Stay updated on industry trends affecting food, beverage, and CPG sectors
Assist with forecasting, demand planning, and stock optimization
Communicate with customers and internal teams regarding order status and inventory
Job Requirements:
Experience in food, beverage, or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry required
Understanding of food safety regulations and compliance standards
Strong analytical and inventory management skills
Experience with ERP or inventory systems preferred
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
