Cleveland, Oh – Hybrid (3-5 days on-site preferred)

About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Full Stack Developer / Application Support Engineer to join a dynamic team working on
modernizing several applications from an older tech stack to a new one . The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with both
Vue.js
and
Spring Boot , as well as performing root cause analysis to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
This role requires strong communication skills, collaboration with cross‑functional teams, and the ability to elevate or involve the right resources when necessary. You’ll be taking over some responsibilities currently handled by a Business Analyst, including
triaging tickets and coordinating with internal teams .
Key Responsibilities
Modernize legacy applications to new technologies using
Vue.js
and
Spring Boot .
Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues; perform
root cause analysis .
Manage and triage tickets, escalating and pulling in resources as needed.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including developers, analysts, and support engineers.
Support the transition of BA responsibilities for ticket vetting and project coordination.
Document findings, progress, and solutions clearly for the team.
Required Skills & Experience
Hands‑on experience with
Vue.js
and
Spring Boot
in a production environment.
Strong
troubleshooting and root cause analysis
capabilities.
Excellent
communication and collaboration
skills; able to elevate issues appropriately.
Experience working in
cross‑functional or support‑focused environments .
Bachelor’s degree required if considering eventual full‑time conversion.
Preferred / Nice‑to‑Have
Experience with
ticket management
and requirements gathering.
Exposure to modernizing legacy applications or migrating tech stacks.
Familiarity with production support, incident response, or application reliability.
Core team is on‑site
3 days per week .
Open to remote candidates, though local presence may be advantageous.
Contract‑to‑hire potential, with full‑time conversion possible.
