Associate Attorney

Keystone Law Group has an excellent opportunity for an Associate Attorney to join our growing law practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in probate litigation practice and demonstrate key skills such as strong legal research, persuasive writing, analytical thinking, client service, and teamwork. Associate attorneys will work on an assignment/project basis under the direction of Senior attorneys and Partners, and also may be assigned as a handling attorney on smaller matters. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner and adapt well to firm processes and technology, and eager to learn a new practice area. The firm will provide extensive training during the onboarding process.

Location
Position is fully remote or hybrid.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Research legal issues for trust and estate litigation matters
Draft pleadings, discovery, memorandums, motions, and other legal documents
Assist with trust and estate litigation matters from inception through trial
Make court appearances in the probate courts
Assist with probate administrations from initiation of proceedings to discharge of personal representative
Assist with conservatorship or guardianship matters from initiation of proceedings to representation of conservators or guardians for the duration of these matters
Other projects, as assigned
Qualifications
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical skills
Strong legal research and writing skills
Must possess extreme attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
Ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced office environment
Education and Experience
At least 1 to 3 years of demonstrated litigation experience in probate law
Strong academic record; law review membership highly preferred
CA Bar membership required
Salary Range
Attorneys may elect 1,550 hours or more. Annual base salary is $125,000 to $170,000 based upon an election of 1,750 hours.
