Dermatology Physician Assistant

Join our dedicated team as a Dermatology Physician Assistant and become an essential part of providing top-tier dermatological care. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting patient care primarily at Clifton Springs with potential float support to RGH Genesee Valley Derm from July through January. If you are a licensed, board-certified PA with recent Epic experience, a strong work ethic, and a passion for dermatology, we want to hear from you.

Required Skills:

• NY Physician Assistant License in Hand
• Board Certification in Dermatology or related specialty
• Recent (within the last 3 years) EPIC EHR experience
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in dermatology or outpatient settings
• BLS certification
• Ability to manage a patient load of 25-35 patients per day
• Effective communication and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team
• Awareness of compliance standards and documentation requirements

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience supporting dermatology procedures and treatments
• Familiarity with other EMR systems
• Multilingual abilities
• Additional certifications such as Dermatology Certified Physician Assistant (DCPA)

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• At least 3 years of recent dermatology practice or outpatient clinic experience
• Proven ability to manage a high-volume patient caseload efficiently

Other Requirements:

• Support staff (LPN, RN, MA) assigned at a ratio of 1 support staff per 12 patients
• Flexible scheduling to accommodate patient flow and clinic needs
• Must have recent EPIC experience and a clean work history without gaps exceeding 30 days
• No recent malpractice or disciplinary actions; documentation may be required for review
• Ability to work 8-hour days, Monday through Friday, between 08:00-16:30
• Must uphold all compliance and safety regulations
