Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Legal Assistant based in the Atlanta Metropolitan Area. The Legal Assistant will be responsible for supporting attorneys with drafting and preparing legal documents, conducting legal research, managing case files, and providing administrative assistance. Additional responsibilities include maintaining communications with clients, preparing court filings, managing schedules, and assisting with various office tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
Proficiency in legal document preparation and a solid understanding of legal processes and terminology
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with attorneys, clients, and court officials
Experience with administrative assistance tasks, including scheduling, file management, and maintaining organized records
Familiarity with legal assistant responsibilities, including court filings and client correspondence
Great attention to detail and critical thinking skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite is preferred
Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in law, legal studies, or a related field is beneficial
