An established Immediate Care Clinic in Cartersville, Georgia is seeking a Physician for locum tenens in an outpatient setting focused on minor acute care and primary care services.

Position Highlights

• Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
• Setting: Immediate Care / Outpatient Clinic
• No weekends No overnight shifts

Scope of Practice

Will provide evaluation and treatment for common acute and primary care conditions, including:

• Coughs, colds, flu, and upper respiratory infections
• Minor sprains, strains, and musculoskeletal injuries
• Minor cuts, burns, and rashes
• Basic urgent care and primary care complaints
• Preventive care and patient education as appropriate

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans
• Order and interpret basic diagnostic tests
• Prescribe medications in accordance with state guidelines
• Document care accurately in the electronic medical record
• Collaborate with clinical staff

Qualifications

• Current Georgia license
• Experience in urgent care, immediate care, family medicine, or primary care preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and patient-centered approach
• DEA
• BLS
• 2 references
• CV
