Job Responsibilities
Designing custom solutions using the item machine building kit using the item Engineeringtool and Solid Edge
Transfer drawings into company enterprise resource planning system (ERP-System) to create quotes for customers
Technical Support and specialization for the item Engineeringtool
Work with the sales team to provide best solutions for customers and participate in meetings
Prepare customer orders for production
Quality control of peer designs and production documentation
Administrative tasks and communication between the headquarters in Germany, item LLC and distributors
CAD Maintenance
Technical and product training as required
Candidate will report to the Engineering Manager
Requirements
College degree with a major in engineering or a comparable degree or experienced mechanical Technician
Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience with CAD Software (Solid Edge / Solidworks / Inventor, etc) preferred
Analytical skills and a business focused approach
Familiar with the metric system (beneficial but not mandatory)
Communicating and Teamwork skills
Intercultural skills
Exceptional verbal & written communication and presentation skills to provide quick responses to questions, provide product information, and make recommendations
Ability to work individually and as part of a team
High level of integrity and work ethic
Professional Skills at Microsoft Office such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Skills at any kind of ERP system such as SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics NAV
