Position Summary
The Maintenance Staff is responsible for maintaining the facility in a safe, functional, and well-maintained condition. This role supports daily operations by performing repairs, preventative maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety standards in a skilled nursing environment.

Full Time 8am - 4pm and weekends

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry)

Complete work orders in a timely and efficient manner

Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment and building systems

Maintain grounds, including snow removal and basic landscaping

Ensure facility safety by identifying and correcting hazards

Assist with room setups, moves, and equipment installations

Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance logs

Support emergency repairs and on-call maintenance needs

Follow safety procedures and ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards

Assist with maintaining compliance for Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and state regulations

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required

1–2 years of maintenance experience (healthcare setting preferred)

Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems

Ability to use hand and power tools safely

Strong problem-solving and time management skills

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
