Position
Pre‑Apprentice Electrician – Rockville, MD & DC area.
Duration
Temporary to Hire 4 to 10 months.
Schedule
6am-2pm. Overtime available.
Job Description
Will have many hours of classroom time and several months in the field on site. There will be a pay increase after entering the four‑year apprentice program.
Responsibilities
Running
Bending pipe
Pulling wire
Doing underground
Rough‑in work
Fixture installation
Blueprint reading
Terminations
Qualifications
Must have reliable transportation
Must be able to pass Employment Verification through E‑Verify
Background and drug screening
Willingness to travel to other project sites if needed
Physically capable of lifting up to 50lbs and working on ladders/scaffolding
Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
Must have reliable transportation and bring your own tools & PPE
Must provide valid IDs for E‑Verify
Must pass background check and drug screening
Some construction experience
