
Maintenance Technician

As a Maintenance Technician you will ensure operation of machinery and equipment by performing highly diversified maintenance tasks (both planned and unplanned) at our Perrysburg, OH metal processing plant.
Every day as the Maintenance Technician you will
Collaborate internally and across PSI to schedule preventative maintenance and maintain records appropriately
Ensure appropriate inventory of spare parts, supplies, and equipment necessary to complete jobs effectively and eliminate downtime
Troubleshoot the root cause for unplanned maintenance repair and make adjustments as needed
Assist with the installation and assembly of new equipment and improvement to equipment and facilities
To thrive in this role, you must
Be willing to work Monday-Friday from 5pm - 5am and be readily available for emergency repairs in breakdown situations outside of your normal hours
Able to read and interpret mechanical, hydraulic and electrical drawings
Have in depth knowledge and ability to troubleshoot hydraulics (pumps, motors, valves, cylinders) and electrical (single phase, DC circuits, PLC, knowledge of three phase, use multi‑meter)
Have in depth knowledge and experience with fabrication (welding, plasma, torch experience)
Communicate effectively with all levels of organization and between shifts
Support others to accomplish goals by responding with professionalism and a strong sense of urgency to make reasonable decisions and swiftly refer to appropriate level if needed
Look for ways to continuously improve processes by anticipating problems, seeking best answers and exploring multiple possibilities to offer solutions
Have proven maintenance experience preferably in manufacturing environment with accreditation from a technical school or applicable skills trade program
