Dispatcher

Overview
This role is responsible for executing daily dispatch operations, including order scheduling, driver coordination, and delivery management, while ensuring high customer service and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

Take customer orders, schedule deliveries, and dispatch drivers.

Maintain accurate and timely order entry.

Monitor delivery execution and adjust schedules.

Coordinate with plants, drivers, and internal teams.

Monitor external factors to optimize routing.

Resolve transportation conflicts and customer issues.

Maintain communication with stakeholders.

Apply problem-solving skills to operational challenges.

Handle high call volumes professionally.

Follow company safety policies.

Perform other duties as required.

Must Haves

1–3 years of dispatch or logistics experience.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Plusses

Block experience, or something comparable.
