GilanFarr Architecture is a Lake Tahoe–based residential architectural firm specializing in custom homes that balance design excellence with buildability. We are looking for a highly skilled Architectural Production Manager to lead our production team, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and coordination from design through construction documentation.
Position Overview The Architectural Production Manager will oversee drawing production, technical standards, and coordination with consultants and contractors. This role requires a deep understanding of wood-framed residential construction and advanced Revit expertise. You will be responsible for mentoring staff, managing project deadlines, and ensuring quality control across all deliverables.
Responsibilities Lead the development of construction documents for high-end residential projects.
Manage and oversee the production team’s workflow in Revit.
Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and contractors.
Apply technical knowledge of Western wood residential framing to ensure constructability.
Enforce drawing standards, quality control, and firm best practices.
Mentor and train junior staff in Revit and detailing.
Support project managers and principals with schedule and budget oversight.
Qualifications Minimum 5 years of professional Revit experience (production-level).
Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, detailing, and code compliance.
Ability to lead and coordinate a team effectively.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
